Ingredients

8 oz. bowtie pasta

1 lb. ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup beef broth

1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

Add Aromatics: Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Pour in the undrained diced tomatoes and beef broth. Add the Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Melt the Cheese: Add the cubed Velveeta cheese to the skillet, stirring until melted and smooth. If desired, stir in the sour cream to make the sauce creamier.

Mix in Pasta: Add the drained bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing gently to coat the pasta evenly with the cheesy beef mixture. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through.

Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious, creamy Velveeta Beef Bowtie Pasta!
