1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)

1 cup dill pickles, chopped

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or cream of cheddar)

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, lettuce, extra pickles

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

      Season and Mix: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix in 1 cup of cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, and mustard. Continue to stir until well combined.

        Layering: Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

          Add Tater Tots: Carefully arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.

            Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
