Ingredients
  

4 large sweet potatoes

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

1/2 cup milk

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

Topping:

1 cup miniature marshmallows

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook Sweet Potatoes: Peel and cube the sweet potatoes. Boil them in a large pot of salted water for about 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain and let them cool slightly.

      Mash Sweet Potatoes: In a large bowl, mash the sweet potatoes using a potato masher or a mixer until smooth.

        Mix Ingredients: Add the melted butter, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix until well combined and creamy.

          Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

            Prepare Topping: In a small bowl, combine the miniature marshmallows, chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.

              Add Topping: Evenly distribute the topping mixture over the sweet potato layer.

                Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
