Ingredients

1 pre-made graham cracker crust

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 cup peanut butter chips

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup crushed pretzels

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup whipped topping

1/2 cup caramel sauce

1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Optional: whip cream for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Cookie Crust: Start by placing the pre-made graham cracker crust into a pie dish. Set aside.

Melt the Chocolate Chips: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until completely melted and smooth.

Mix the Cream Cheese Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until creamy. Gradually add in powdered sugar and mix until fully combined.

Fold in the Whipped Topping: Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.

Layer the Ingredients: Begin layering the pie: Pour half of the cream cheese mixture into the bottom of the crust. Then, drizzle with some caramel sauce and chocolate syrup.

Add the Crunchy Bits: Sprinkle half of the shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and crushed pretzels over the cream cheese layer. Next, pour half of the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture over this layer.

Repeat Layers: Repeat the previous step by adding the rest of the cream cheese mixture and layering with caramel sauce, chocolate syrup, the remaining shredded coconut, chopped pecans, crushed pretzels, and the remaining melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture.

Chill the Pie: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let it set.

Serve and Garnish: Once set, top with optional whipped cream before serving and enjoy your Texas Trash Pie for a sweet treat!
