Tasty Loaded Tater Tot Appetizers Recipe

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

½ cup cooked bacon, chopped

½ cup sour cream

¼ cup green onions, sliced

¼ cup ranch dressing

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Jalapeño slices for a spicy kick

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Bake the Tater Tots: Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Prepare the Toppings: While the tater tots are baking, in a small bowl, mix the sour cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. This will be your delicious dipping sauce.

Layer with Cheese and Bacon: Once the tater tots are done baking, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped bacon evenly over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish: Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the sliced green onions on top. If you like it spicy, add jalapeño slices at this point.

Serve: Drizzle the garlic ranch dressing mixture over the loaded tater tots or serve it on the side as a dip.

Enjoy: Serve hot and enjoy this crowd-pleasing appetizer!
