2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup marshmallow fluff

1 cup heavy whipping cream

½ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup angel food cake, cubed

½ cup sliced almonds (optional)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Strawberries: In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with a tablespoon of powdered sugar. Toss gently and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.

    Whip the Cream: In another bowl, use a hand mixer or whisk to whip the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add in the remaining powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until you achieve stiff peaks.

      Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, gently fold the marshmallow fluff into the whipped cream until fully combined and smooth.

        Layer the Salad: Add the cubed angel food cake and the marinated strawberries into the whipped cream mixture. Gently fold everything together being careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.

          Finishing Touches: If desired, fold in the sliced almonds for added crunch.

            Chill: Transfer the fluff salad to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

              Serve: Just before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves and, if desired, additional sliced strawberries on top.
