Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 package (3.4 oz) instant cheesecake mix

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup strawberry preserves

Additional strawberries and whipped cream for topping

Instructions

Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish to create an even layer. Set aside.

Make the cheesecake filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the instant cheesecake mix, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream. Beat on medium-high until thickened and fluffy.

Layer the mixture: Start by spreading half of the cheesecake mixture over the graham cracker crust. Use a spatula to smooth it evenly.

Add strawberries: Distribute half of the sliced strawberries evenly over the cheesecake layer. Drizzle half of the strawberry preserves over the strawberries.

Repeat the layers: Spoon the remaining cheesecake mixture over the strawberries and smooth it out. Layer the rest of the strawberries on top and finish with the remaining strawberry preserves.

Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results. This will help the flavors meld and the cheesecake to set.

Serve: Before serving, top the cheesecake lush with additional whipped cream and fresh strawberries for garnish. Slice into squares and enjoy!
