For the Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup milk, warm

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

For the Filling:

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Topping:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough:

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

      Mix and Knead:

        Add the eggs and salt to the yeast mixture, then gradually add the flour until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

          Make the Filling:

            In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.

              Roll Out the Dough:

                Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle (about 16x12 inches). Spread the softened butter evenly over the surface, followed by the cream cheese mixture.

                  Add Strawberries and Cinnamon:

                    Sprinkle the chopped strawberries over the cream cheese mixture. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon with the last of the granulated sugar and sprinkle it over the strawberries.

                      Roll and Cut:

                        Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

                          Second Rise:

                            Cover the dish and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes until puffy.

                              Bake:

                                Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

                                  Prepare the Topping:

                                    In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

                                      Glaze the Rolls:

                                        Once the rolls are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.

                                          Serve:
