Ingredients

1 package (1 lb) refrigerated croissant dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

1/4 cup strawberry jam

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)

Optional: whipped cream or additional strawberries for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Fold in the diced strawberries gently into the cream cheese mixture.

Open the package of croissant dough and unroll it carefully. Separate the triangles along perforations.

On each triangle, spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture and 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam near the base of the triangle. Drizzle with a bit of lemon juice for added flavor.

Roll up each triangle tightly from the base to the tip, tucking the tip underneath to seal. Place them seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk to create an egg wash. Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving. For an extra touch, you can drizzle with more strawberry jam or serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

Prep Time: 20 min | Total Time: 35 min | Servings: 8 rolls
