Ingredients

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus extra for coating)

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

¼ cup whole milk

1 cup cinnamon sugar (1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for coating)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-cup bundt pan to prevent sticking.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon until well combined. Set aside.

In another large bowl, cream the softened butter and 1 ½ cups of granulated sugar together using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.

Slowly add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream and whole milk. Start by adding one-third of the dry mixture, followed by half of the sour cream, then repeat. Ensure everything is just combined; do not overmix.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Then, pour the remaining batter over top, spreading it to cover the cinnamon sugar layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then carefully invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, you can optionally dust the top with additional cinnamon sugar for an extra sweet touch. Slice and serve your delightful Snickerdoodle Bundt Cake.
