For the Brownie Layer:

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup all-purpose flour

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon baking powder

For the S'mores Topping:

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

¼ cup melted butter

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Prepare the Brownie Batter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until well combined. Allow to cool slightly, then mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

      Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

        Bake the Brownies: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake!

          Prepare the S'mores Topping: While the brownies are baking, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a small bowl. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
