Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

⅓ cup granulated sugar

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup peanut butter (optional for a twist)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined and crumbly.

Press about two-thirds of the graham cracker mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust layer.

If you are using peanut butter, melt it in the microwave for about 30 seconds or until it's smooth and drizzle it over the crust evenly.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the crust followed by the mini marshmallows. Use the remaining graham cracker mixture to sprinkle on top of the marshmallows.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden and bubbly. Let cool for at least 10-15 minutes.

Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
