Ingredients

1 bag (32 oz) frozen meatballs (beef or turkey)

1 cup beef broth

1 cup onion, finely chopped

1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)

1 cup cream of mushroom soup

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Slow Cooker: Lightly grease your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

Mix the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.

Layer Ingredients: Place the frozen meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the finely chopped onion and sliced mushrooms on top.

Pour the Sauce: Pour the mixed sauce evenly over the meatballs and vegetables.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the flavors have melded.

Thicken the Sauce (Optional): If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. About 30 minutes before serving, stir the slurry into the slow cooker and let it cook on high for that time until thickened.

Serve: Once cooked, give it a gentle stir. Serve the Salisbury steak meatballs over a bed of cooked egg noodles or creamy mashed potatoes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
