Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Season the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Pork Chops: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they're golden brown. This step adds extra flavor but can be skipped if you're short on time.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then, stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Transfer to Slow Cooker: Place the seared pork chops into the slow cooker, and pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over them, ensuring they are well-coated.

Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the pork chops are tender and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C).

Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and place them on a serving platter. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley.

Enjoy your delicious Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Garlic Parmesan Sauce!
