Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops: Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Pork Chops: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes per side until they are nicely browned. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then stir in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Bring to a simmer.

Combine Ingredients: Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning to the broth mixture. Stir well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Slow Cook Everything: Pour a small amount of the sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the seared pork chops on top. Pour the remaining sauce over the chops ensuring they are well coated.

Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 4-6 hours or until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.

Serve: Once done, carefully remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and place them on plates. Drizzle the garlic Parmesan sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
