Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Garlic Parmesan Sauce

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Pork Chops: Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Pork Chops: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer the seared chops to the slow cooker.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian herbs, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer while stirring.

Combine in Slow Cooker: Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the pork chops in the slow cooker. Make sure they are well coated.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and juicy.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the slow cooker, spoon some of the sauce over them, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
