12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

6 oz salami, sliced into strips

8 oz fresh mozzarella balls, halved

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup black olives, sliced

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.

    Prepare the Salad Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, salami, mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, black olives, red onion, and torn basil leaves.
