Start by combining your ground meat—whether beef, turkey, or chicken—with breadcrumbs, finely chopped onions, garlic, and a variety of spices.

Reindeer Cheese Ball

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

16 oz cream cheese (softened)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

1/4 cup chopped pecans (plus extra for decoration)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup dried cranberries (for decoration)

Pretzel sticks (for antlers)

2 slices of black olives (for eyes)

1 baby carrot (for nose)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled feta cheese, chopped chives, chopped pecans, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.

Gather the mixture into a large ball, ensuring it’s compact and cohesive.

Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for it to firm up.

Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the fridge and unwrap it.

Roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans until fully coated, pressing gently to adhere.

Place the cheese ball on a serving plate. Use a toothpick or knife to create a smooth surface for decoration.

Position the pretzel sticks on the top of the cheese ball to resemble reindeer antlers.

Use the black olive slices as eyes by gently pressing them into the front of the cheese ball.

Cut the baby carrot into a small piece and press it in place as a nose below the eyes.

Scatter some dried cranberries around the base of the cheese ball for an added festive touch.

Enjoy your festive creation with your favorite crackers or veggies!
