1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz egg noodles

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup beef broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Noodles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.

        Add Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

          Create the Sauce: Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for a couple of minutes to combine the flavors.

            Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles with the beef mixture. Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until evenly incorporated.

              Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Spread it evenly and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.

                Bake: Cover the casserole with aluminum foil (optional) and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly. If you prefer a golden cheese top, remove the foil for the last 10 minutes of cooking.

                  Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
