Ingredients

1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, sliced

2 cups mushrooms, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup cooked macaroni (or pasta of your choice)

1 cup beef broth

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.

Cook the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced flank steak. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté for 5-6 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.

Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, steak, sautéed vegetables, beef broth, dried oregano, and half of each cheese (cheddar and provolone). Stir until well combined.

Bake: Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
