Ingredients

1 cup pecans, finely chopped

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for coating)

Extra chopped pecans (for coating)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, maple syrup, softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well with a wooden spoon or your hands until fully combined and a dough forms.

Once the mixture is well-blended, refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to firm up.

After chilling, use a tablespoon to scoop out the mixture and roll it into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.

Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to help coat it evenly. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back onto the parchment paper.

While the chocolate is still wet, roll each ball in the extra chopped pecans for added crunch and flavor.

Once all the balls are coated, refrigerate them again for about 15-20 minutes until the chocolate is set and firm.

Serve chilled or at room temperature, and enjoy your delightful Pecan Pie Balls!
