Ingredients

4 cups fresh or canned peaches (sliced, drained if canned)

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks, melted)

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss until the peaches are well-coated. Pour this mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the peach mixture. Do not mix; ensure it is spread evenly across the top.

Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring to cover as much of the cake mix as possible for even baking. If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.

Allow the cobbler to cool for a few minutes before serving. For an extra treat, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
