For the Cinnamon Rolls:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

3/4 cup whole milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

For the Filling:

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and diced

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough:

    In a small saucepan, heat the milk until warm (about 110°F). Remove from heat and stir in the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until foamy.

      Mix the Dough:

        In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.

          Knead the Dough:

            Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.

              Prepare the Filling:

                In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.

                  Assemble the Cinnamon Rolls:

                    Spread the softened butter evenly over the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top, followed by the diced peaches and pecans (if using). Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.

                      Second Rise:

                        Place the cinnamon rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with a towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

                          Bake:

                            Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

                              Prepare the Glaze:

                                While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, cream cheese, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

                                  Glaze the Rolls:

                                    Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top and serve warm.
