Ingredients

8 oz. penne pasta

1 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sirloin steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the steak from the pot and set aside.

In the same pot, add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened, then add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Return the cooked steak to the pot and mix well with the vegetables. Pour in the beef broth, heavy cream, and stir in the Italian seasoning. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Add the penne pasta to the pot, making sure it is submerged in the liquid. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and let it cook for about 12-15 minutes or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

Once the pasta is cooked, reduce heat to low and stir in the provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of color and flavor.
