Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

16 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened, as preferred)

½ cup chopped pecans (toasted for extra flavor)

½ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and resemble wet sand.

      - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer. Chill it in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.

        Make the Cheesecake Filling:

          - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy.

            - Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.

              - Stir in the sour cream until combined. Set aside.

                Melt the Chocolate:

                  - In a microwave-safe bowl, gently melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until completely smooth. Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly.

                    Combine Components:

                      - Add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and mix until smooth and creamy.

                        - Fold in the coconut flakes and chopped pecans, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the cheesecake filling.

                          Whip the Cream:

                            - In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture until fully incorporated.

                              Assemble the Cheesecake:

                                - Pour the cheesecake filling onto the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

                                  - Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow it to set.

                                    Serve:

                                      - Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan. You can garnish the top with additional toasted coconut and pecans if desired.

                                        - Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious No-Bake German Chocolate Cheesecake!
