Ingredients

8 oz egg noodles (or your choice of noodles)

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 onion, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, grated

1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (red or green)

1 cup shredded carrots

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Begin by boiling a large pot of water. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

Add Aromatics: To the cooked beef, add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Incorporate Vegetables: Add the bell pepper and shredded carrots to the beef mixture. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften slightly.

Sauce It Up: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the beef and vegetable mix, ensuring everything is coated evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Noodles: Add the cooked noodles directly to the skillet with the beef and vegetable mixture. Toss everything together gently to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
