Ingredients

12 slider buns

1 pound thinly sliced ham

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sliced green onions

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, green onions, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth and well-combined.

Slice the slider buns in half horizontally while keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over the bottom halves of the slider buns.

Layer the sliced ham evenly over the cream cheese mixture.

Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the ham.

Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the poppy seeds (if using). Brush the mixture over the top of the slider buns.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sliders are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

Let the sliders cool for a few minutes, then slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
