Million Dollar Alfredo Pasta

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ teaspoon salt (to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper (to taste)

½ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Optional: grilled chicken or shrimp for protein

Instructions

Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, careful not to burn it.

Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently for 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese until fully melted and the sauce is creamy.

Season the sauce with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg, adjusting the flavor to your preference.

Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly in the Alfredo sauce.

If you desire protein, add grilled chicken or shrimp at this stage and mix well to combine.

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color and added flavor. Enjoy your decadent Million Dollar Alfredo Pasta!
