Meltaway Brownie Cookies

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

1 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

      Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until fully combined.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

          Stir in Chocolate Chips: Fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

            Shape Cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie for spreading.

                Cool and Dust: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, dust the cookies with powdered sugar for a beautiful finishing touch.
