Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled (or diced ham or bacon)

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (any color)

1/2 cup diced onions

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Roll out the crescent roll dough onto the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pinch the seams together to form a single, even layer that covers the bottom.

Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set aside.

Mix the Egg Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Layer the Ingredients: On top of the crescent roll layer, evenly distribute the cooked sausage, bell peppers, onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. Finally, pour the egg mixture evenly over the top, ensuring all ingredients are well covered.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Cool & Refrigerate (Optional): Allow the casserole to cool slightly before slicing. You can serve it immediately or let it cool completely, then cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours for a make-ahead option.

Reheat & Garnish: If refrigerated, reheat individual portions in the microwave until warmed through. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired before serving.
