Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

4 strips of bacon, chopped

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Fry the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon drippings in the skillet.

Cook the Beef: In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, add the ground beef and cook over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Onions and Garlic: Add the diced onion to the beef, cooking for about 2-3 minutes until softened. Then, stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the skillet heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently. Gradually add in the cheddar and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

Combine Ingredients: Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add Pasta: Toss the drained fettuccine with the sauce until fully coated. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta cooking water to reach your desired creaminess.

Finish with Bacon: Fold in most of the crispy bacon, reserving a little for garnish. Stir until well combined.

Serve: Plate the Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta, garnishing with remaining bacon bits and chopped green onions.
