Lemon Pepper Wings with Honey

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning

Zest of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Wings: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This will help them crisp up in the oven.

Season the Wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, lemon pepper seasoning, lemon zest, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Ensure each wing is well-coated with the seasoning mix.

Bake the Wings: Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Honey Glaze: While the wings are baking, whisk together the honey and lemon juice in a small bowl until well combined.

Glaze the Wings: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the honey glaze until evenly coated.

Serve: Arrange the glazed wings on a serving platter, garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and enjoy!
