4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast

1 tsp salt

1 cup milk, warmed (about 110°F)

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tbsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the cream cheese frosting:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2-3 tbsp milk (adjust for desired consistency)

Prepare the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

    Mixing dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

      Combining wet and dry ingredients: Add the melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture. Gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.

        Kneading the dough: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5-7 minutes or until smooth and elastic.

          First rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
