Ingredients

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Whipped cream, for serving

Chopped nuts or chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand.

Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to create a crust.

In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the pie is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.

Drizzle the hot fudge sauce over the top of the pie while it's still warm, allowing it to seep into the pie.

Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving for a firmer texture.

Serve slices warm or chilled, topped with whipped cream and garnished with chopped nuts or chocolate shavings if desired.
