Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)

2 cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

1 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal.

Melt the Butter: In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove it from the heat once melted and allow it to cool slightly.

Combine Sugar and Eggs: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, mixing well.

Mix Everything Together: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few small lumps are okay.

Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Layer with Hot Fudge: Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter. Add the remaining brownie batter on top, and finish with the remaining hot fudge sauce. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the fudge into the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool and Serve: Allow the brownie bread to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

Enjoy this luscious Hot Fudge Brownie Bread warm or at room temperature, for a rich and decadent treat!
