Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

3 tablespoons honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Allow them to marinate for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even coverage.

While the salmon is marinating, preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.

Once the skillet is hot, remove the salmon from the marinade (reserve the marinade for later) and place the fillets skin-side down on the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.

Carefully flip the salmon fillets and pour the reserved marinade over them. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Remove the salmon from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.

Plate the salmon, drizzle any remaining sauce from the skillet over the top, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
