Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for better flavor)

1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped

1 large onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 medium carrots, peeled and diced

1 bell pepper (any color), diced

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt (to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Use a spatula to break the beef into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Vegetables: Add the diced onion, garlic, carrots, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

Incorporate Cabbage: Stir in the chopped cabbage and continue to cook for another 5-6 minutes until the cabbage begins to wilt.

Add Remaining Ingredients: Pour in the diced tomatoes (with juices), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir everything together until well combined.

Simmer: Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cover the skillet and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the flavors melded together.

Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
