Ingredients

1 pack of standard Oreo cookies (approximately 36 cookies)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup green candy melts or green chocolate chips

1/4 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzle)

Red or green sprinkles (for decoration)

1 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Oreos: Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until finely ground. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place them in a zip-top bag and crush them using a rolling pin.

Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese. Mix until well combined and a dough-like consistency forms. If you’re using peppermint extract, add it in at this stage for an extra festive flavor.

Form the Balls: Using your hands, scoop small amounts of the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until they are firm.

Melt the Candy Coating: While the Oreo balls are chilling, melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.

Coat the Balls: Once the Oreo balls are firm, dip them in the melted green candy melts, using a fork to help cover them completely and tap off the excess. Return them to the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add Drizzle & Sprinkles: Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave (using the same method) and transfer to a small piping bag or a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off. Drizzle over the green-coated Oreo balls. Immediately sprinkle the red or green sprinkles on top before the chocolate sets.

Chill Again: Return the finished Grinch Oreo balls to the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to set the coating.

Serve and Enjoy: Once set, these delightful Grinch Oreo balls are ready to be served! They’re perfect for holiday parties or gifts. Keep refrigerated until serving.
