Ingredients
  

8 oz. noodles (spaghetti or rice noodles work well)

3 tablespoons sesame oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted

2 green onions, sliced

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles:

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Garlic Sauce:

        In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden.

          Combine Sauce Ingredients:

            Lower the heat and add soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), and chili flakes to the skillet. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.

              Mix Noodles and Sauce:

                Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them gently to coat in the garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

                  Add Final Touches:

                    Remove from heat and stir in the toasted sesame seeds, sliced green onions, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

                      Serve:
