A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

2 cups rotini pasta

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (preferably rotisserie)

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

2 cups marinara sauce

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce, heavy cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a creamy sauce.

Combine Ingredients: In the same bowl, add the cooked chicken, spinach, cooked pasta, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir until everything is well coated with the sauce.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.

Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and the mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the pasta mixture.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish & Serve: Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
