Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

3 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help achieve maximum crispiness.

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) until evenly coated.

Roast the Brussels Sprouts: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Make sure they're not overcrowded—this will help them crisp up.

Bake: Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes. Halfway through cooking, give them a good shake or stir to ensure even browning.

Add Parmesan: Once the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the oven. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the sprouts and return them to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.

Finish with Balsamic: After removing from the oven, drizzle the Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar for an added depth of flavor. Toss gently to combine.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the crispy Brussels sprouts to a serving platter and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve warm as a delicious side dish or snack.
