Ingredients

4 lobster tails (6-8 oz each)

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preparation of Lobster Tails: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the middle, stopping just before the tail fin.

Loosen the Meat: Gently pull the lobster meat away from the shell, lifting it slightly to sit on top of the shell while keeping it attached at the base.

Make Garlic Herb Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add Herbs and Flavor: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, thyme, lemon juice, lemon zest, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Brush the Lobster: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Generously brush the garlic herb butter mixture over the lobster meat, reserving some for later.

Bake the Lobster Tails: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Occasionally baste the lobster with the remaining butter for extra flavor.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the oven and drizzle any remaining garlic herb butter on top. Serve with lemon wedges for an added zesty touch.
