Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Parmesan Cream Sauce

A delightful twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ cup heavy cream

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Season the steak bites generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if necessary) and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Prepare the Sauce: Lower the heat and add the heavy cream to the skillet. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is thick and creamy.

Combine: Return the steak bites to the skillet, mix well to coat them with the garlic butter and Parmesan cream sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an added zing.
