Ingredients
  

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. This helps in achieving a crispy exterior when cooking.

    Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it begins to froth. Be careful not to let it brown.

      Add Garlic: Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.

        Cook the Salmon: Increase the heat to medium-high. Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes, occasionally spooning the garlic butter over the top of the fillets.

          Flip the Salmon: Once the salmon is cooked about three-quarters of the way through and has a lovely crispy skin, carefully flip the fillets using a spatula. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

            Add Lemon Juice: Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the cooked salmon and sprinkle with dried parsley (or fresh parsley if using). Remove the skillet from heat.

              Serve: Plate the salmon and drizzle the garlic butter from the skillet over each fillet. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
