Ingredients

12 jumbo pasta shells

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Extra mozzarella for topping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the jumbo pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.

Combine Chicken and Cheeses: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Stuff the Shells: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken and cheese mixture into each cooked pasta shell. Place the stuffed shells seam side up in the prepared baking dish.

Add Alfredo Sauce: Pour the garlic butter Alfredo sauce over the stuffed shells, ensuring they are well coated. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.

Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your creamy, delicious Garlic Butter Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells!
