Ingredients

3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

¾ cup warm milk (110°F)

¼ cup granulated sugar

½ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, melted + more for brushing

2 large eggs

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Make the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 3 cups of flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until combined.

Knead the Dough: Gradually add the remaining flour until the dough comes together. Transfer to a floured countertop and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).

Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Set aside.

Shape the Rolls: Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, leaving space in between.

Second Rise: Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise again until puffy (about 30-45 minutes).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Brush with Garlic Butter: Once risen, brush the tops of the rolls generously with the garlic butter mixture.

Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and brush with more garlic butter if desired.

Serve: Let the rolls cool slightly, then serve warm. Enjoy the delightful aroma and flavor!
