Ingredients

1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)

3 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

12-15 ladyfinger cookies

Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur, if using. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated and smooth.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Lay them at the bottom of the jars.

Spoon a layer of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it out with a spatula.

Repeat the process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by another layer of the cream cheese mixture until the jars are filled, finishing with the cream cheese layer on top.

Cover the jars with lids or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.

Just before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings for an extra touch.
