Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed if possible)

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup sour cream

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup French fried onions (optional, for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with diced onion and minced garlic until the beef is cooked through and the onion is translucent (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, thawed hash brown potatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Top with Onions: If desired, sprinkle French fried onions on top for extra crunch.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is lightly golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
