Easy Double Chocolate Coca Cola Cake Recipe

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup Coca-Cola (regular)

½ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup buttermilk

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

For the Frosting:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

3 cups powdered sugar

1/3 cup Coca-Cola (regular)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

      Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together Coca-Cola, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk until smooth.

        Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
