Ingredients

4 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup sugar (adjust for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Whipped cream (for serving)

Chocolate shavings or marshmallows (for garnish)

Instructions

In your crockpot, combine the whole milk and heavy cream. Stir gently to mix.

Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture.

Set the crockpot to low heat. Cover and let it warm for about 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is creamy.

After 2-3 hours, taste the hot chocolate and adjust the sweetness if desired by adding more sugar. Stir well to combine.

Once everything is blended and heated through, ladle the hot chocolate into mugs.

Top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or marshmallows.

Serve immediately and enjoy your cozy cup of hot chocolate!
